CADFusion has the ability to optimize your drawing to maximize your machine throughput and improve part quality and consistency. Flexible optimization settings let you customize optimization based on your drawing elements and process demands.
When you optimize your drawing, CADFusion examines all of the shapes in your project. It uses the options you selected to:
Automatically remove duplicate or overlapping shapes
Combine connected shapes
Configure the starting location and travel direction around the perimeter of shapes for part consistency
Optimize the order of execution for the AeroScript or AeroBasic motion program to decrease overall process time.
The grid based sorting algorithm, one of the key features of the CADFusion optimization process, works easily with Infinite Field of View (IFOV) on Aerotech control systems. Grid based sorting gives you maximum throughput over the extended field of view supplied by your galvo scan head and servo axes.
Aerotech recommends that you finalize your part geometry before you optimize your drawing. If it is necessary to make changes to the part geometry after you optimize, CADFusion remembers your settings so that you can easily optimize your drawing again.
